Amy Dewey was on her lunch break, when she noticed one of her favorite animals — a squirrel. She picked up her phone, eager to capture the cute bunch of furry squirrels scrabbling around.
Amy thought she’d captured the perfect shot, but when she moved to display it to a friend, she discovered it wasn’t quite right.
«I didn’t know it looked like a very lengthy squirrel when I took the photo.» she said «When I showed it to her, one of my work colleagues noted it out to me, and we both giggled.»
The optical illusion depicts a squirrel’s face on one side of the tree and the other’s lower half on the other.
It wasn’t an extended animal, but rather 2 squirrels on opposite sides of the tree, creating the ideal visual effect.
«I photograph squirrels whenever I see them because I think they’re so adorable,» she explained.
«I think the people here don’t notice them because they likely see them every day, but we have never had them where I live.» So they’re a little special to me.»
