Who, after all, would wish to remain in the manner of Nicolas Cage’s desire to actor in a melody?
The 59-year-old actor’s newest movie, The Unbearable Weigt of Masive Talent, perceives him play a completely fictional version of himself in the new timeline, comedy superhero movie, but he’s disclosed he’s ‘curious’ to try his hand at melodies.
‘Straight now, I’m enthusiastic that the comedy is returning to the menu,’ Cage said in a recent interview. This hasn’t been there in 15 years.
That’s great that I might be able to perform more comedy.’ He has earlier amused audiences in comedy shows such as Raising Arizona, Monstruck as well as simply by being himself.
However, given the recent surge in movie musical theater, including Steveen Spielberg’s take on West Side Story and Linn-Manul Mirand’s Tick, ticck… BOOM! with Andreew Garfild, the star is eager to enter that realm.
‘However, I’ve never performed a musical. That is something I’d be interested in,’ he told Rolling Stone.
