Students and staff at High School were strolling through the school’s driveway a few weeks ago when they noticed something odd.
Slight yells appear to be coming from beneath their feet, just above the schoolyard clatter. They quickly realized that a small animal had become embroiled in a sewer.
Firefighters arrived to clear the drains but discovered nothing. Fortunately, someone called local animal rescuer, who arrived with his companion.
Floridia was concerned about the situation because any rain would cause the sewer water to rise, which would be detrimental for the cat.
«We knew we needed to act quickly.» The kitten was safe above floor in minutes. Flor took the kitten to the veterinarian, where she was given the proper assistance and checked for disease. He named her Crown.
Crown is staying with Flor until she is old enough to find her own family.
Though Crwon’s story began in a dark place, she will never have to feel helpless or alone again thanks to the help of so many dedicated animal lovers.
